AirCairo Expands Cargo Ambitions with Aeroprime Partnership in India and UAE

AirCairo is accelerating its cargo expansion strategy through an extended partnership with Aeroprime Group, covering operations in both India and the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement marks a significant step in the airline’s efforts to diversify its business model and capitalize on rising demand for air freight connectivity between Egypt, the Middle East and South Asia.

Under the new mandate, Aeroprime will oversee cargo sales, operational coordination and customer engagement—building on an existing relationship focused on passenger services.

The move reflects a broader industry trend, where airlines are increasingly integrating passenger and cargo strategies to maximize network efficiency and revenue potential.

Egypt’s strategic geographic position is central to this expansion. Acting as a gateway between Africa, Europe and Asia, the country is playing an increasingly important role in facilitating the movement of pharmaceuticals, perishables and industrial goods.

With a fleet that includes Airbus A320s, Embraer E-190s and ATR72-600 aircraft, AirCairo is well-positioned to support regional and medium-haul cargo operations.

For Aeroprime, the partnership reinforces its growing influence in the Indian aviation market, where it continues to secure key contracts, including recent agreements with international carriers such as TAP Air Portugal.
