Asia–Eurasia — FESCO opens a new corridor Cambodia–Russia via Ho Chi Minh City

FESCO Transport Group launches a new container service connecting Phnom Penh to Vladivostok via Ho Chi Minh City, combining river, inland, and maritime solutions to extend connections between Cambodia and Russia.
This service illustrates the growing search for more flexible logistics corridors capable of absorbing disruptions in global trade. Freight forwarders find an alternative there to secure certain flows and develop door-to-door solutions supported by a Vietnamese hub with strong operational depth.
The competition between regional hubs is intensifying, with Ho Chi Minh City strengthening its role as a strategic platform while Vladivostok consolidates its function as a gateway to the Far East. On a macro scale, these new corridors end up influencing pricing levels and equipment availability in markets sometimes considered secondary.
In a fragmented global trade, value goes to those who build reliable and durable roads.
