Ocean Network Express is preparing for a strategic turning point with a major leadership change.

The shipping company ONE announces a significant transition at its helm, with the scheduled departure of its longtime CEO Jeremy Nixon after several years of growth and transformation. His successor, Till Ole Barrelet, will officially take over in the summer of 2026.
This development comes at a pivotal moment for the container market, marked by the end of historical alliances and a profound reconfiguration of global maritime networks. Under Nixon’s leadership, ONE has become one of the major global players with more than 260 ships and a capacity exceeding 2 million TEUs.
For freight forwarders, this strategic change could influence the company’s future business decisions, particularly regarding alliances and capacity deployment.
